Marcela has always been a dreamer. Growing up in Brazil, she felt a deep fascination with America—its culture, its music (yes, even the Backstreet Boys)—and she knew from a young age that one day she wanted to live there.
At just seventeen, Marcela joined an exchange program and spent a year in Louisiana with a welcoming American family. Upon returning to Brazil, she pursued a degree in English and went on to dedicate more than ten years to teaching Brazilians how to speak the language she loved so much. Teaching gave her discipline, patience, and, most importantly, a heart for helping others reach their goals.
Eventually, Marcela followed her dream back to the United States. Like many immigrants, she started from the ground up, working for about ten years as a cleaning lady. While she didn’t fall in love with the cleaning industry itself, a pivotal moment transformed the way she saw her work.
When Marcela became pregnant, she invited some of her helpers to clean her home. That experience revealed something powerful: the service wasn’t just about spotless floors—it was about support. It was about the relief, peace, and mental well-being that came from walking into a clean, calm home. For new moms, for working parents, and for busy families, this support could be life-changing.

Your initial cleaning may take longer and cost a bit more because we need extra time to properly eliminate buildup of mold, soap scum, dust, and dirt from your home through our Deep Cleaning process.
We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Our team carefully plans our schedule days in advance to ensure we can serve all our customers efficiently. Last-minute cancellations or changes create significant disruptions that affect both our current day and future scheduling. To be fair to all customers, a cancellation fee will be charged for changes made with less than 48 hours notice.

Cleaning time varies based on your home's size, condition, and the number of team members assigned. We give each home the attention it deserves. While we can provide an estimated timeframe during your consultation, we prioritize thorough cleaning over speed.
No, you don't need to be present. Many of our clients provide us with a key, lockbox code, or garage code so we can access their home while they're at work or running errands. Your trust and security are our top priorities.
Yes, Quality Time Cleaning is fully licensed and insured. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect both our team and your home.

We love pets! For safety and efficiency, we ask that larger pets be secured in a separate room or crate during cleaning. Small, calm pets can typically roam freely. Please inform us about your pets when booking so we can prepare accordingly.
